Hallgrimskirkja: a church in Reykjavik that I know I’ll never be able to pronounce correctly on my first visit. (So I guess that just means we’ll have to go back so I can practice more?!) Icelandair offers free stopovers- and good pricing if you book early- from the east coast to the EU, making Nordic horses, Northern lights and stunning scenery closer than you think!
Fun fact: the statue of explorer Leif Eriksson in front of the church was a gift from the US by artist Alexander Calder. (Not that one, though— this artist fathered the famed kinetic artist known for his mobiles.)

I stumbled across Trey’s amazing adventure photography today and look forward to learning more about his HDR process, which he shares via a tutorial on his site. Hopefully I can learn a trick or two that will come handy when snapping the unique landscape of Iceland this May!
